Monica Lynch began her marketing career as a Creative Director for a non-profit conglomerate where she spent the last 10 years, alongside freelance creative consulting + design. Monica studied Mass Communication, Public Relations and Business at LSU where she graduated. Her team thrives in connecting the data to the creative and is passionate about combining traditional and digital marketing strategies for optimal success.

Since The Advisor Agency began under the name of Monica Lynch Marketing and launched full time in the Fall of 2020, we've served many clients ranging from artists, authors, politicians, non-profits and small business owners providing a full range of marketing services.

New Year, New Name! Kinda…

Monica Lynch Marketing has technically always been the Advisor Agency, but when I began this journey in the middle of Covid all by myself, I DBA’d as Monica Lynch Marketing to help establish trust with my network and grow a client base.

Five years later, we’ve grown a team, our skills, and our client base and we are proud to be called our original name, The Advisor Agency!

This name was born out of my desire to consult and guide dreamers and doers and equip them with all the marketing knowledge I had. The name “Monica” also means ADVISOR!

There are some changes in how we will operate and the services we offer, but we’ll get in to that next!

For now, I’d love to hear what you think about our new name and new look! 👀

🎉 Celebrating 4 years of Monica Lynch Marketing! On this day, 4 years ago, we got the official paperwork from the Secretary of State saying we were in business. We have served over 40 clients and companies! 😭

This has been a dream come true. This venture was birthed during peak COVID, provided for our family through my husband’s medical residency and also allowed me the flexibility I needed to be a mom first in this new stage of life.

I’m so thankful for friends and family that have cheered me on, my teammates that are top-notch and the easiest to work with, and all of our clients who trusted us to deliver results!

We are in it for the long haul, and we’re excited for all the years to come!

I think of all the ways I wish I could show up for my own business, that I honestly may or may never get around to. I think about how much my priorities in life have shifted since having a baby. I think about the days I only have 30% to give, but still give it.

Are Google Ads worth it? Let’s discuss…

Running top-notch Google Ads for our client’s warm B2B audience has yielded pretty significant results. Sure, each lead might cost $168, but when those leads turn into five or six-figure projects, it’s totally worth it. 🎯💰

Google Ads aren’t really something to “just throw some money at it.” It takes a thoughtful approach, intentional budget, and consistent adjustments to really make sure you’re getting the bang for your buck. I always encourage clients to give at least 3 months of testing to really be able to see the long-term benefits.

If you’re thinking about Google Ads, keep those things in mind! It is going to take time and money. But, hey, I think it can be more than worth it.

Here’s a look at the real us—we’re kinda weird, pretty funny and have a great time when we’re all together!

👩🏼 Monica (that’s me) started this in fall of 2020 when the pandemic kind of left her with no choice, but it was the best accident! Her picture is of a single purple painted nail that she forgot about during this photoshoot, which isn’t funny but I guess we thought so at the time. She’s a new mom and lives in Naples, Florida with her high school sweet heart turned husband!

👩🏻 Jessica jumped on the team almost immediately and has been managing accounts, social media, and events for multiple clients for years. Her picture is of her trying to survive the photoshoot while she was running fever. 🤒 She was also a matron of honor in my wedding! She lives in Picayune, Mississippi with her 2 teenagers and hubby and is building a super cool container home!! She posts about that journey sometimes here (@bucketandbirdie)

👧🏻 Lindsey joined next to help with all things graphic design. She’s great at everything she touches and always brings creativity and laughter with her. As seen here (@very.lindsey). Her photo perfectly describes her quirky coolness. She lives in Jackson, Mississippi in her new home that she bought with her husband and doggie—Ralph.

👨🏼‍🦰Last, but not least is Shelby! He started working with us after this photoshoot so we’ll keep the mystery alive 🤣 He’s one of the most creative and smartest guys I know, which you can see here (@rankagentdigital); here (@porchandrec) and here (@shelby_d_thomas). Fun fact—he stood in my wedding and has been my husband’s best friend since high school. He lives in Indian Land, South Carolina with his two boys and wife Allyson!

Starting this short work week with the next up in our Archetype Series—The Sage!

As you explore the slides, you’ll see a guru vibe. This archetype is full of thought leaders and companies that are on a mission to seek and share wisdom.

From Google, to Yoda, to Jesus Christ— these brands (for lack of a better word, Jesus 😬🙏🏼) are the ones you want to have philosophical conversations with.

There’s no reason to dumb-down information for this audience. They want detailed and credible information that helps them continue their journey to knowledge.

The Sage is not just an easy Q&A session or a bunch of “Did You Know?” posts. In fact, they rarely provide the answer, but are best at guiding you to find what you’re looking for on your own.

“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” I just love that quote.

Jesus does this in the four gospels, mostly through parables or conversations, found in the New Testament. (If it’s red, he said it.)

Life Coaches do this through a lot of wisdom-sharing, text-heavy posts, blogs or podcasts.

Google does this through creative ads that foster a desire for discovery and information.

Another great example is the character Robin Williams plays in the Dead Poets Society, English teacher John Keating.

Taking a closer look at The Innocent today—hopefully these slides start to paint a picture of this archetype.

The Innocent is a total optimist. Their guiding principle may sound like “We are free to be you and me.” You may find yourself asking…Are they for real? Is anyone really this genuine?

They see the goodness in everything. Brands that embody this show reliability and comfort, positioning themselves as trustworthy and safe.

They radiate positivity and warmth. At their worst, they may seem naive, but that’s pretty harmless compared to some of the flipsides of the other archetypes.
